KTLA – - KTLA is actually an American based Channel. It is currently owned up by the Tribune Company. It at first started its business in the United States.
It launched its first television station in 1947.It actually got its commercial license on twenty-second January 1947.The channel runs in the United States and Canada through satellite and cable.
It was the first Commercial TV station in L.A. The channel had a slogan Where LA lives. The channel broadcasts the prime time shows and newscasts. The KTLA morning show is ranked as number 2 in the top local morning shows. The channel celebrated its sixtieth anniversary on twenty second January 2007,
KTLA ran into a joint-venture with the CW. They also redesigned their logo as the KTLA 5 CW. The CW is also another American based television network and was launched in 2006. It was first broadcasted on eighteenth September 2006.It also has a high Definition version of their Channel. The CW is derived from the “C” of CBS and the “W” of Warner Bros.
KTLA also broadcasts its channel in high definition format. It started its high Definition broadcast on thirteenth January 2007.The Channel broadcasts many popular shows such as the Hanna Montana, Family Feud and many more. KTLA has maintained their name in the television industry since the first episode of the Popeye cartoons. KTLA reporters have appeared in a movie Malibu’s Most Wanted.
