As a crowd of 50,994 roared for the Filipino, Pacquiao walked out to “Eye of the Tiger.”

Round 1

Round 3

The fighters land more shots this round. Clottey tries to gamble a big shot to knock the Pacquiao off, but the nimble Pacman is too quick for him. Pacquiao concentrates on landing body shots that may help in later rounds.

Round 5

Pacquiao slows down a bit and Clottey uses this time to land some punches but is still too defensive to make any of his punches count.

Round 6

Clottey starts to waver in this round with Pacquiao dominating with his whirlwind style. Clottey does not land any significant punches.

Round 7

Another defensive round for Clottey and it looks like there’s only one fighter throwing puches.

Round 8

Clottey lands a low blow and a headbutt and Pacquiao chases him around the ring finally breaking Clottey’s guard a bit.

Round 9

Pacquiao knows a KO will not be possible against his very defensive opponent and gives his fans a show with some nice combinations.

Round 10

Pacquiao is still all over Clottey with more flurries and hitting with better accuracy.

Round 11

Clottey finally tries to open up but it’s too late! Pacquiao counters and showed Clottey why he’s the best in the world with a fine mix of aggression and deadly combinations.

Round 12

Clottey did one thing the whole and did it well. Defending himself all night. Too bad that’s all he was able to do.

Pacquiao wins by unanimous decision. It is Pacquiao’s victory as the judges score it 120-108, 119-109, 119-109.

It could have been more exciting if Clottey did not just put his hands covering his face. He was big enough to absorb the punches of Manny Pacquiao but he was not the man to stand against the smaller guy like pacman. What waist of time seeing him just to clown around.
