Seneca Wallace – - Mike Holmgren moved a bit of his West Coast offense East on Mon when he dealt for his early protege.

The Browns given a late-round pick in 2011 for Seneca Wallace, a conference origin told The Plain Dealer: That means the Browns yet have 11 picks in 2010, including 9 in the first 5 rounds.
Seneca Wallace, 29, is awaited to come out as a support, meaning the Browns could still deal for a newcomer. But Wallace can take on different positions, including receiver and returner. The Browns affirmed the deal late Mon pending Wallace clearing his physical on Wed, but they’d only say the pick was unrevealed.

Holmgren outlined Wallace with a fourth-round pick in 2003 out of Iowa State after training him in the Senior Bowl that yr and being affected with Wallace’s versatility. There was some idea that Wallace should change to more of an Antwaan Randle El-type receiver, but he asserted on playing quarterback, and Holmgren was wishing to develop him.
Wallace fought to adjust to the Seahawks’ offense past season in Holmgren’s absence, and began only 2 games while Hasselbeck was wounded. During his 7 seasons in Seattle, Wallace completing 333 of five hundred and fifty six passes for three thousand five hundred and fifty seven yards with twenty five touchdowns & 14 interceptions. His career grading is 83.1. He also took 4 passes for 76 yards, including an athletic 28-catch in the 2005 NFC Championship Game versus Carolina.
