WikiLeaks — WikiLeaks has exposed more than 90000 hidden record files regarding the Afghanistan War and the killings of civilians that occurred when the armed forces were searching for the leaders of Taliban group.

This is considered as the biggest leaks in the history that has been showed by WikiLeaks.

The documents are named as The War Logs and were uploaded on Sunday and it contains information of Afghan war from years 2004 to 2009. The documents contain the schemes of US army and the warning reports from agencies and the details of the discussion of political leaders and army officers.

The important information in the records is about the specific operation that was done by the US officials and the unit was named as Task Force 373 that was done to kill or detain the leaders of Taliban group.

It also shows that army officials also targeted many inhabitants in around 100 incidents and few of the secret processes led to the killings of inhabitants of Afghanistan that also included innocent children. These documents were given in advance around few weeks before to the 3 newspapers that are Guardian, Der Spiegel and The New York Times by the website of whistleblower.

These documents also gave the information that Pakistani and Iranian agencies might be helping Taliban in Afghanistan. It showed that ISI was helping the Afghan rebellion. The white House criticized and said that they set the lives of their army officials in danger and also defended the role of Pakistan in the whole incident. These reports are true and these should be looked into carefully and deeply.

Christina Aguilera – She has been doing a lot of promotions but she hasn’t been doing well on the charts, but Christina Aguilera didn’t seem to mind since she was at a party over the weekend pushing her new film ‘Burlesque’ which was held in Cancun, Mexico.

The film includes stars like Cher and Kristen Bell and Cam Giganet, and the director is Steve Antin who is related to Robin Antin (founder of the Pussycat Dolls and Girlicious). Christina was photographed partying but the pictures do not include Cher though as she didn’t attend the party for some reason.

The film is going to be released in November and there is going to be a soundtrack for the ‘Burlesque’ movie. I think that even with Burlesque, it isn’t going to save her career because of the media that is always trying to find something negative.

FIFA World Cup 2010 Finals – The final of the FIFA World Cup 2010 between the Netherlands and Spain will be played today in Johannesburg.

The decisive battle will be extremely tough and it to make a prediction is even more difficult. The Netherlands are currently unbeaten in this year’s grant event and they had defeated some of the biggest teams of the world including the South American giants Brazil. The famous Dutch duo Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder have a splendid campaign so far and they have the ability to turn things to their way. Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has a disappointed event so far but it will be interesting to watch Dirk Kuyt and van Bommel playing for the Netherlands. They beat Uruguay in the semi-final 3-2 and now they are just one step away from glory.

On the other hand, Spain is also looking promising. They took a shaky start when they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Switzerland in their first game of group stages but they managed to hold on things in their next matches. During their campaign, they defeated Portugal and most recently Germany in their last match. The Spanish team has reached the final of the grant event for the first time in their history and it shows that how talented they are. David Villa is on fire and the best player for me so far in this year’s World Cup but his striking partner Fernando Torres is yet to find his magic touch. Xavi, Iniesta and Xabi Alonso performed really well throughout the tournament.

James Cameron — The Oscar-winning lensman behind the world’s two top-grossing films, Titanic and Avatar, — has signed on to direct a 3D concert film based on the Black Eyed Peas’ World Tour.

“Right now, we are planning our 3D tour movie, and James Cameron is directing it – we have the biggest director, because we are the biggest group on the planet,” band frontman Will.iam divulges to VIBE. “We’ve toured from America and Europe, to the Middle East, South America, Asia and Africa. We want to go across the planet,” says Will, who promises a “dope” storyline for the still-untitled concert feature. “The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theatre with the 3D glasses and everything.”

According to witnesses Keys who was wearing four inch heels fell on her derriere with her legs going up in the air. She quickly recovered went to her piano and pursued with her performance.

Alicia Keys who is over 5 months pregnant recently shocked fans at the BET awards during a tribute to Prince when she jumped on top of a piano to sing.

The Last Airbender is loosely based off of Book 1: Water from the animated series, Avatar:: The Last Airbender. The first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender took place through twenty “chapters,” each spanning less than half an hour. M. Night Shyamalan and crew had the daunting task of cutting and adapting the entire first season into a less than two-hour theatrical release, so the story told in The Last Airbender cannot possibly reach the same depth and complexity of Avatar: The Last Airbender. That being said, M. Night Shyamalan gives fans of the animated series several nods and nuggets throughout the film – from certain scenes to some dialogue and even the intro from the cartoon, the director of The Last Airbender borrows freely from this film’s predecessor in apparent honor of the franchise.

While it is impossible not to feel rushed in the storytelling of an epic tale whittled down for the big screen, M. Night Shyamalan seems to vie for the eye candy of battles and bending at the expense of developing the crucial relationships between the characters, surprising from a director whose strength has traditionally rested in superior character development and nuance – by the end of the film, Aang (Noah Ringer), Katara (Nicola Peltz), and Sokka (Jackson Rathbone) feel like mere acquaintances to each other as opposed to a newly formed family. Given that there seems little bonding between the three young actors, many of the onscreen decisions made together feel abrupt and forced. Shyamalan also seems not to trust audience members to infer anything – instead, he relies on often dry and needless commentary, most painfully evident in the uninspired and tedious exchanges between Admiral Zhao (Aasif Mandvi) and Firelord Ozai (Cliff Curtis).

Dev Patel as Zuko brings a depth to the character reminiscent to his animated counterpart, and Shaun Toub plays Uncle Iroh with the grace and wisdom audiences have come to expect of the character. Nicola Peltz and Noah Ringer are occasionally allowed a spark or two of chemistry – Nicola Peltz portrays Katara as a young woman driven by a need to help others. Noah Ringer, as Aang, seems heavily weighted down by the overwhelming responsibilities of being the Avatar, while Jackson Rathbone provides the few and far-between comic relief.

While it would be unfair to compare this movie with the series that inspired it, The Last Airbender suffers with a noticeable lack of humor and depth– with the exception of a flashback or two, audiences are never able to see Aang’s struggle between being a fun loving kid who must shoulder the very adult and serious responsibilities of the Avatar. Sokka and Katara seem regulated to scenery for a good chunk of the film, and Admiral Zhao seems like a silly caricature as opposed to a dangerous and power-driven commander of the Fire Nation. Reflective moments are touched upon but never fully explored – Zuko (Dev Patel) has an instance when he is trying to confide in an unconscious Aang – yet this fascinating and promising examination at one of the franchise’s most endearing and complex characters is upstaged and dismissed too quickly.

Toyota Recall — More bad news today for the Toyota company as it is being reported that the giant car company will be issuing a new recall on Monday.

Toyota said today (Thursday) that around 270,000 vehicles worldwide are affected by faulty engines.

The “recall” or withdrawal and improvement happened to Toyota earlier this year began to recede, at least in the UK. It is said that 95 per cent from 270,000 units of the recall has been successfully completed by this largest car manufacturers in Japan.

Recall was done because the gas pedal sometimes causes sudden car acceleration. The numbers reach millions of units worldwide. “Because of the impact of the news world wide, consumers’ consideration toward the products of Toyota decreased sharply. But, in June, the condition began to improve. We already handle 95 percent of the total calls and repairs,” said Miguel Fonseca, managing director of Toyota UK.

A report by Shino Yuasa for the Associated Press on Chron.com says that a Japanese newspaper has reported that Toyota will inform the transport ministry on Monday of a recall. However it should be noted that no sources have been given for this claim by the newspaper involved. This comes at the worst possible time for Toyota, currently striving to repair its reputation after 8 million cars worldwide have already been recalled this year, due to acceleration and brake problems.

Hideaki Homma, a spokesperson for Toyota, would not confirm a recall but said that action was being taken to handle the defective engines which can stall while in motion. 90,000 of the affected vehicles are thought to have been sold in Japan, with the remaining 180,000 sold overseas. Models involved include 7 models of Lexus sedans and the Crown.
