WikiLeaks — WikiLeaks has exposed more than 90000 hidden record files regarding the Afghanistan War and the killings of civilians that occurred when the armed forces were searching for the leaders of Taliban group.

This is considered as the biggest leaks in the history that has been showed by WikiLeaks.

The documents are named as The War Logs and were uploaded on Sunday and it contains information of Afghan war from years 2004 to 2009. The documents contain the schemes of US army and the warning reports from agencies and the details of the discussion of political leaders and army officers.

The important information in the records is about the specific operation that was done by the US officials and the unit was named as Task Force 373 that was done to kill or detain the leaders of Taliban group.

It also shows that army officials also targeted many inhabitants in around 100 incidents and few of the secret processes led to the killings of inhabitants of Afghanistan that also included innocent children. These documents were given in advance around few weeks before to the 3 newspapers that are Guardian, Der Spiegel and The New York Times by the website of whistleblower.

These documents also gave the information that Pakistani and Iranian agencies might be helping Taliban in Afghanistan. It showed that ISI was helping the Afghan rebellion. The white House criticized and said that they set the lives of their army officials in danger and also defended the role of Pakistan in the whole incident. These reports are true and these should be looked into carefully and deeply.

Google’s new free service has a complete array of very useful calling features that everyone can take advantage of on a daily basis.

Google, the search engine giant of giants has been adventuring into many different playing fields within the past few years. Surely millions have already taken advantage of their easy to use e-mail service, maps, and software. Most of Google’s services have more than proven their usefulness and reliability. Google Voice seems to be a very big leap for them.

Google Voice has already been developed more than a year ago. However Google opted to have the service on an invite only basis. Thus meaning the general public would not be able to try the service unless they received and invite. Google stated that they would limit use to ensure that the service would work well when it’s released to the public. After much testing and bug fixing, the Google Voice service is finally released to the public.

The list of features Google Voice offers is quite exciting. Some of the features possibly may never be duplicated by any single cellular carrier or landline provider.  Google’s goal in the project it to combine regular phone services with the latest Web technology. Google Voice boasts their main feature of having a free Google Voice number that when called will divert to all your phones at the same time. Meaning when someone calls your Google Voice number it will ring on your office phone, cellular phone, house phone, or other voip phones you may have all at the same time. If you don’t want certain people to have access all your phones its easy to make personalized settings so that certain caller will only ring on the particular phones you select. Also you may set different times of day that when your Google Voice number is called none of your phones will ring.

Google Voice also makes it easy for everyone to talk only with the people they want to talk to. You can easily log in to your account and select who you want to block from calling. The blocked callers will hear a message that your number is no longer in service. Screening is also a very cool feature.  Remember before with old house phone answering machines when you can listen to the caller 1st over the answering machine and then interrupt the voicemail and pick up the phone if you like? The Google Voice service also has the feature of your voicemails being automatically transcribed and sent to your email and SMS inbox free of charge. This feature could be useful in times when you cannot hear clearly or in a position where you can’t pick up the phone. The transcribed voicemails gives you the feature of being able to search your voicemail through your E-mail. The transcription may not be perfect though. A computer can only understand so much a human can say. So you might get some gibberish transcriptions. However this is still a very cool feature that’s worth taking advantage of.
