It is reported that Anthony Galea was found possessing Actovegin and other illegal drugs. Actovegin is a human growth hormone (hGH) which is extracted from calf’s blood. Actovegin was banned by World Anti-Doping Agency. Anthony Galea is under investigation on both sides of the Canadian border. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police says that charges will be filed against Anthony Galea this Friday and he is scheduled to make his first appearing in the court on December 18. U.S. anti doping agency officials has also confirmed that he is on their ‘radar’.
