FIFA World Cup 2010 Finals – The final of the FIFA World Cup 2010 between the Netherlands and Spain will be played today in Johannesburg.

The decisive battle will be extremely tough and it to make a prediction is even more difficult. The Netherlands are currently unbeaten in this year’s grant event and they had defeated some of the biggest teams of the world including the South American giants Brazil. The famous Dutch duo Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder have a splendid campaign so far and they have the ability to turn things to their way. Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has a disappointed event so far but it will be interesting to watch Dirk Kuyt and van Bommel playing for the Netherlands. They beat Uruguay in the semi-final 3-2 and now they are just one step away from glory.

On the other hand, Spain is also looking promising. They took a shaky start when they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Switzerland in their first game of group stages but they managed to hold on things in their next matches. During their campaign, they defeated Portugal and most recently Germany in their last match. The Spanish team has reached the final of the grant event for the first time in their history and it shows that how talented they are. David Villa is on fire and the best player for me so far in this year’s World Cup but his striking partner Fernando Torres is yet to find his magic touch. Xavi, Iniesta and Xabi Alonso performed really well throughout the tournament.

Let’s see who will lift the World Cup trophy this time.

South Africa and Uruguay – - On 11th of June 2010 at Soccer Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. Team South Africa obtained the first goal during the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Group A game between South Africa and Mexico.

In addition, South Africa won over a lot of neutrals with a committed display against Mexico and in a group which is set to be very tight this match could be crucial to both sides hopes of qualification. Uruguay battled hard against France but failed to put real pressure on the opposition goal and Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez will hope for more luck against the hosts in Pretoria.

On the other hand, South Africa and Uruguay in Pretoria on Wednesday. South Africa’s performance surprised many but not those who had seen their last few warm up games or had been following the training camps. Once they shook off their nerves in the opening half hour they showed they can easily match any team in the group and but for a criminally negligent defensive lapse could have walked away with all three points.

Moreover, after their scoreless draw with France, there are a lot of questions that a match that neither side did much to impress in. All of Africa, and many neutrals outside, will be on Bafana’s side, but Uruguay can and may very well do better than they did the first match.

They didn’t give Jake Rosholt a main event after his loss to Kendall Grove, a fight that he was dominating until he was caught in a triangle. They cut him. Kimbo Slice wasn’t given a main event, he was given his walking papers.

There is obviously a double standard and no consideration given to the quality of the product. I realize they have bills to pay, but this main event is a joke. It could have been an undercard with a legit main event.

This is what happens when a -> fan <- is calling the shots (Dana White). Let’s hope UFC 115 is not a sign of things to come.

I’m a big fan of the sport. I have seen every single PPV UFC event since the very first one.

I don’t know who to pick tomorrow night. I love Rampage. He’s just so much fun to watch. The thing is that I don’t see it going very long. These guys genuinely hate each other and I think they’re going to come out swinging. Both guys have serious power, so whoever hits the other guy first will probably win.

I would love to see it become a real war, like Griffin vs Bonner. I just think we have two guys with big power and weak chins.

Machida>Rua - I think Lyoto was cought off guard by Shogun in the first fight and will be much more prepared physically and mentally(gameplan wise) for this fight. Machida scores a mid fight KO in a similar fight as the last.

Koscheck>Daley - This fight depends souly on what Kos wants to do. If he stands he loses, if he wrestles he wins. Kos should shoot early to drain Daley’s arms all the while eventually leading to a RNC.

Mitrione>Slice – Both guys can bang and throw bombs but only mitrione can take them IMO. Wouldnt mind seeing Kimbo get the KO though.

Belcher>Cote – The time off is realy gonna hurt Cote in this fight as he will be a little to slow in a lot of the exchanges but his iron chin will see him through to the end.

Stout>Stephens - Yet another war of the hands. One that will also go to the cards and be in favor of Stout as he utilizes his full array of strikes on Stephens. Similar to what Fisher did to him in their second fight.

Lawlor>Doerksen – Tom will be to big and be hitting to hard for the tough but unprepared Doerksen to handle. His great TD will aid in a first round KO.

Davis>Goulet - Jonathan’s chin has never served him well and this fight will be no exception as Marcus lands a nasty straight left Franklin style after some nice body kicks to start the round.

Hendricks>Grant - TJ is a solid figthter but his BJJ will come up short against Jon’s wrestling and his hands arent quite as crisp either. Grant’s toughness will make sure this one goes the full fifteen though.

Beltran>Hague - In what will surely be a sloppy fight the mexicutioner will eventually put some stikes together that end the night early for Timmy.

Guymon>Yoshida - Its been pretty evident that Yoshida doesn handle getting punched in the face very well. At some point in time in this fight that is gonna happen and he will drop.

Madonald>Salter - The seasoned and well rounded Macdonald will overwhelm still green Salter in the second resulting in a submssion.
