Nicole Richie and Joel Madden – Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden and TV personality Nicole Richie had decided to tie the knot, but they are not in a hurry for that.

“It’s not a big deal,” Richie comments on her forthcoming wedding with Madden. Just like what Madden said, Richie told Ellen DeGeneres over a chat on her talk show yesterday (March 9) that they are still taking their time, definitely not in a hurry.

The pair had been together for three and a half years and had just announced that they are thus engaged. About specific plans however, Richie shared that they doesn’t have a wedding date yet, but they’ll have it soon. She then responded with an affirmative that yes, DeGeneres will be one of thir wedding guests, quoting that DeGeneres is a “huge part of our life and relationship.”

Kidding aside though, Richie said that she’s not yet sure of the details yet. Quoting from her, she stated that “Yeah, I’m actually not sure [about maids of honor] — I’ve been on the road,” she said. “I just got home and so it’s really going to be, like, now that’s the time for me to sit down and think about what I want.”

Richie and Madden has two kids already. A boy named Sparrow who is six months old and Harlow who is a two year old girl, making her say that she is thus very exhausted.

Madden said at the Oscars that he was excited to share the news with everyone. He excitedly shared that they are engaged and that he finally did it. He also furthered that just like their engagement, they are not rushing things up. Madden added that “I mean, we had two kids before we got engaged, so getting married — I couldn’t give you a timeline. We kind of move at our own pace, so we’ll see.”
