Pringles Recall – Procter & Gamble has issued a Pringles recall to products which may have been contaminated with salmonella.
P & G also had a recall of dozens of other consumer products containing food additive HVP last week. HVP — or hydrolyzed vegetable protein — is a flavor found in many soup mixes and dips.
Meanwhile, Basic Foods Flavors – also a manufacturer of chips located in Las Vegas – recalled more than 90 products after being tested positive for salmonella.
The Pringles recall is only for two flavors of the popular potato chips: Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger and Family Faves Taco Night.
If you have purchased the said Pringles products, call Procter & Gamble at 1-877-876-7881 for a replacement coupon or refund.
