Jude Law –Sherlock Holmes star Jude Law failed the custody deal over the mother of his lovechild. He is thus allowed to see his daughter bi-annually on the note that he pays childcare payments.

Law’s child with American model Samantha Burke was conceived while he is filming Sherlock Holmes in New York. He became a four time father in September last year.

Law met his and Burke’s child Sophia for the first instance last February 10 while he is then in a trip to Florida. According to Britain’s News of the World, he is said to have sealed a deal with Burke to provide regular child maintenance fees and to visit the kid twice every year.

A total of $5,000 (£3,292) worth of maintenance fees for a month is approved together with a privacy term which would avert Burke from conversing with the press.

An informant tells the Britain’s News of the World that “Jude will visit his daughter at least twice a year, once around Christmas. His visit (to meet Sophia in February) was fleeting and seemed mainly business-like.”

The actor also has three offspring with ex-wife The Last Supper’s Sadie Frost.
